CFMS can list Case
Files by Client Name or by Case File Numbers exclusive to your firm. This list also can be
filtered to view a particular firm Attorney and only the Attorneys Case Files. Instant
search field for easy access that will seek and go to the case file by case file number or
name. View Case File Schedules related to a specific Case File with a click of a button.
CFMS can keep all your case
related documents in folders that automatically are created and accessed with a click of a
button. Any document, image, fax, etc. can be accessed and viewed using your existing
operating system tools such as Microsoft Office tools, Word Perfect and so on.

Procedure is a simple yet effective way to maintain your case data. Any type of case can
be entered.

CFMS has a
receipts log that keeps track of all inbound Documents or activities related to a Case
such as Notice of Motions, Phone calls, etc..... The receipts categories can be setup for
Automatic Schedule Events builder to schedule you responses and dead-lines to each case
receipt. In some cases there are deadlines by law that can't be missed and CFMS can help
prevent those problems. |

The Scheduling
procedures are shown here in three different ways. A formatted List of Schedules view, a
Weekly view and a Daily view. The next version will also have a Monthly view as well as
scheduling conflict checks.
CFMS Scheduler List View can list
events with multiple views and sort data by date or case file as well as filtration by
Attorney and Events taking place. You also can view this list with one line or two for
more instant information available to you. Instant search fields for easy access takes you
to the record you are looking for.
The Weekly View merely displays
your schedules from Monday through Sunday on a single screen. Select the week to display
using calendar or scroll through the weeks with a click of a button. This will also take
you directly to the Daily view of the selected record you want to display.
The daily view displays your
schedule for the particular day in question. It has multiple time frames or no time
frames, a calendar that you can point and click to display any day of the month and year.
It also will display events that are scheduled for the day but has no time set.

Pre-defined
Scheduling template forms such as Case Event Scheduling, Phone Calls, Postal Notifications
and Miscellaneous Appointment forms are built in for easier data entries. Use these forms
to organize your case files schedules for easy viewable access and reports. Shown on the
right is the Standard Scheduling template that can be used for anything. You can view case
information directly from the schedule as well. |

A Task List or
TO-DO is a nice feature for all users. Add related or Non-related events to your profile
task list as a reminder for things to do. You can also assign tasks or reminders to other
users such as appointments, both business and personal to keep all aware of up coming
events. When sending a task, a pop-up window appears to the user/s you are sending to.
This is not messaging but can simulate as such if need be. The auto-preview option allows
the user to view this list in multiple ways. |

View the History
of your Cases. The history file will tell you what is active and where it is within the
CFMS Data structure, including what schedules might be in the Closed file section or the
CFMS Recycle-Bin. If a case file or schedule is active and is not in the recycle-bin, it
can be edited from this list procedure just as if your were looking at the schedule from a
list, weekly or daily view. |

The Administrator can force an
Automatic ALERT list or TO-DO list making any user aware of important events and deadlines
that have to be implemented before it becomes a costly issue with the firm. CFMS can also
make this list of THINGS-TO-DO always open to the user so there is no excuse for getting
the event completed. The user can call this screen at any time as well from one of the
many options within the main menu.

CFMS has a Clients and Multiple
Contacts list database with built-in templates. Find a Client or Contact or list any
category with ease. The Client data base also stores and has templates for Med-Link Reps,
Judges and Adversaries. This Database is also in the process of Development to integrate
with Microsoft Express and Outlook.

A built-In copy
utility allows the Laptop User to take existing data on the road for information to be
available without dial-up. This requires direct cable connect or some network connection
to work properly. |

CFMS has the ability to direct and
share data base files any where on a network or on a STAND-ALONE-PC. CFMS data bases are
have full share modes however, CFMS has a safety lock that holds the record in use by a
user and will not allow another user to change the record while another user is updating
that record.
CFMS has a built-in security
system so your can Administrate users and their user functions. You cannot just open and
use CFMS unless you are a system user.
It has the ability to change from one user to another user without having to shut down and
restart the program for those offices sharing computers.

CFMS has Case
Categories and Response Categories that you can personally setup for automatic scheduling.
This will save time and will alert the user to implement dead line response to the legal
court systems. The auto-event builders are important so you are never late and are always
aware of notices, court appearances or anything you want to setup.

CFMS has the
ability to assign any user to a primary Attorney. When the user logs-on, the user is
automatically pointed to the Attorneys Case File and Schedules. A user can also
search Case Files or Schedules of other or all Attorneys within the firm for cross
reference and firms flexibility.

Location database for a one-time entry allowing a user to select a location from a list
for events scheduled. Why type the same thing over and over again when you can just
select it.

built-in RECYCLE bin which allows you to put any or all case file and related schedules
away for later references or if necessary, to reopen a case after it has been closed.

Print out the
scheduled events for the day, week or date range of your choice as well as filtered
conditional queries in a List Summery report or a Detailed Report. Case Files can be
printed in DETAIL FORM to include Witnesses / Experts / Clients / Adversaries, all
scheduled events both open and closed, etc.
